Strider Hiryu Visual Chronicle (ストライダー飛竜 Visual Chronicle -ビジュアル クロニクル-) is the first official artbook released for the Strider series, compiling artwork from the Arcade Strider, Strider 2 and Strider (2014), as well as art from the unreleased Famicom Strider and Hiryu's main crossover appearances. It was released at the same time as the 2014 game in February, as part of the Strider Hiryu Special-A Class Limited Edition package, alongside other goods.

Content

The artbook consists of 80 pages of fully colored artwork, promotional images, concept art, sketches and extra images including poster, pamphlets and game covers.

• The original Strider section covers pages 03 through 14. It contains official character art as well as several promotional images. The final pages include a few assets from the Famicom Strider, most notably a 2-page spread promo art drawn by the manga's artist Tatsumi Wada, originally published in the videogame mazagine Famicom Tsushin.
• The Strider 2 section covers pages 15 through 50. Artwork includes obscure or never-published art including colored artwork for main characters, art for every in-game cutscene and mugshot and several concept and sketch art covering most of the enemies and bosses from all six stages, as well as a number of scrapped enemies.
• The 2014 Strider section covers pages 51 through 77. The section gathers official artwork, concept art and 3D renders for most of the game's characters, stage enemies and bosses, as well as concept art for several of Kazakh City's locations.
• Pages 78 and 79 closes the artbook with some of Hiryu's official art from his appearances in the Marvel vs. Capcom series, Namco x Capcom and the SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters series.
